Corewell Health Lakeland is a nationally recognized not-for-profit community health system. We are known for delivering an exceptional patient experience by providing superior health and medical services within the region and the state. Corewell Health Lakeland is also committed to undertake research programs to address the unmet needs in human health and disease.
 
Through our graduate medical education program, we aim to provide quality, structured postgraduate residency opportunities that foster professional and personal development, while assuring high quality patient care. We offer residency training programs in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Corewell Health Lakeland is also an educational affiliate of Central Michigan University College of Medicine and a base hospital for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The purpose of the Lakeland Care Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to provide diverse, evidence based educational opportunities that increases physician competence, enhance practice performance, promote patient safety, and improve patient outcomes within our Michigan communities.

We offer numerous delivery methods of Continuing Medical Education via interactive didactic lectures, panel discussion, multidisciplinary cancer conferences, and enduring materials.

Lakeland Care CME adheres to the ACCME guidelines, policies and procedures.
